An Intimate & Romantic Central Park Wedding

This Central Park wedding was equal parts romantic, intimate and modern! Meghan stunned in an airy Vera Wang gown and elegant updo. Portraits in Central Park were complete with views of the city skyline & famous pond. The bridal party dressed in all black, which served modern & timeless vibes. The ceremony took place inside the Loeb Boathouse. The space was adorned with greenery giving it an evening garden party feel. The reception room was equally as romantic, with floral arrangements and candles on each table. The lights were kept low, making the party feel intimate as the couple danced the night away with loved ones!

From Meghan: “After looking at multiple venues outside of the city, we decided to expand our search as nothing felt quite right. We wanted to get married somewhere that had a bit of green space while still remaining polished. When we came across the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, it allowed for just that. On the wedding day, we wanted to bring a little of the outside in. Our vision was to illuminate the room in soft candlelight with lots of greenery while having the backdrop of the city skyline out of the windows over the lake.

“We did a first look outside of The Pierre. It was nice to have that moment just for the two of us. We are big criers but our nerves got the best of us that day so our eyes surprisingly stayed dry! Our ceremony was very quick but intimate led by our cousin. It was one of our favorite parts of the day — being able to look at our family and friends as we got married and said our vows. We brought in some charm with a saxophone player at cocktail hour, who played as our guests enjoyed the raw bar and carving station. The hora was a big crowd-pleaser — just an all-around fun time, getting everyone out on the dance floor. Our band kept our party going well into the morning hours!” – Megan & Spencer
